The developers of an experimental vector based art software called VPaint which is based on a technology called vector graphics complex launched a Kickstarter earlier this month. The technology behind the experimental prototype VPaint was developed by a collaboration of researchers at Inria and the University of British Columbia.
VPaint version 1.7 is available as a free Beta for Windows, Mac and Linux.
The Kickstarter is to help fund a more developed software based on this technology called VGC Illustration.
The project was successfully funded on day 1 of the campaign which is great news, if you want to help back the project there are 20 more days to go.
