An Ode to a Radio Station
Disco Sucks! That’s what the large white pin in our living room said and that’s what I grew up believing, back then anyway. Ours was a classic rock house, influenced by my elder siblings who spent their days listening to Led Zeppelin and Pink Floyd on the large hi-fi turntable we had in our downstairs foyer. The rest of the time, however, they spent listening to 95.5 WPLJ.
