Be Good To Yourself.

I don’t want us to wake up one day asking ourselves; “how did I get here?”

Wondering if we chose the wrong person to spend our lives with, or regretting that we never gave another chance to the one we thought was not right for us.

I don’t want us to pretend to be happy with a person or a career just to “save face”.

I don’t want us to stay on a job just for the money.

I don’t want us to stay in a relationship with the wrong person because we fear the process of opening up to a stranger.

I don’t want us to forget that life is a journey, it’s a long walk full of twists and turns. It’s a challenging adventure that belongs to whosoever will.

I’ve been thinking a lot lately about life, and giving myself the permission to live. What I mean by giving myself the permission to live is allowing myself the room to make mistakes, and to be free from an ideology that suggests I should be perfect.

Perfection isn’t attainable, but I shouldn’t take this truth as permission to be foolish with my life. I can use that to go totally left and just “do me”, but “doing me” has little to nothing to do with God or the call on my life. So, the whole doing me thing is out of the question.

Life is short, time moves so swiftly.

Some things I wish I could redo, but that’s not possible, so I have to live with the choices I made.

We have to take this thing seriously, and understand we only get one life to live.

Live and love to the fullest, don’t hold grudges.

I know it’s easier said than done, but as much as it is possible be at peace with everybody. The number one person we should be at peace with is ourselves.

It might be time to walk away from some people and places for the sake of your sanity. In this eighth month we need to exercise the gift of goodbye.

Let’s be good to ourselves and say goodbye to patterns of thinking and behaviors that haven’t been a benefit to our progress.

Just a couple of days ago I made a decision to move forward on something I wrestled with for a while. I don’t know what the outcome of my choice will be, but I do know it’s gonna be great.

Sometimes we just need to free fall and trust that we are making the right decision although it feels uncomfortable.

True progression and success takes sacrifice, a level of sacrifice many of us aren’t willing to give. We like to stop at good or better, when God blessed us with the ability to go after the exceeding abundant blessings life has to offer.

I’m so convinced this life is more than what we can gain to feel good, or appear to have it all together to others.

Life is too short it’s fleeting, and we shouldn’t waste another moment being mediocre. Let’s stop wasting time becoming what others think we should be.

Let’s stop pleasing everyone else while we leave ourselves on the back burner.

Do yourself a favor and be selfish for an entire week. Just consider yourself first in every decision you make. Once you begin to consider yourself first in your decision making, watch freedom rise up in you like never before. It’s really okay to put your well-being before others.

If you don’t consider yourself at least once per week, what good will you be on empty?

People are leaving here left and right.

I wonder if they got to do most of the things they wanted to do while they were here with us?

I can honestly say, if I left this earth today I would leave with regrets. I haven’t scratched the surface of my destiny. I would leave here so full of potential.

I want to leave here empty. Don’t you?

Do you wanna leave here knowing you’ve done something to make a positive impact on somebody’s life?

It’s time to respond to that still small voice that says; “go ahead and take a chance, do it, you won’t fail”.

It’s time to break free from the fear of failing, and move forward with what we’ve seen ourselves doing all along.

Life keeps moving and we haven’t done anything but allow fear to hold us hostage. I rebuke that ill spirit, and I demand it to go back to hell in the name of Jesus!

My goal today is for us to pursue life and that more abundantly.

I want us to go after the degree, the business, the skill set, the hobby, the weight goal , the health goal, the financial goal, the house, the travel, the vehicle, the peace, the spouse, the children, the joy, the relationship with God, go AFTER whatever you are passionate about and do it with everything that is in you.

Live like you know you’ve only got one shot!

I love you guys and I am rooting for us!
