Busy doesn’t take talent.

No-one landed a job because they could get busy. No-one got promoted because they were great at it.

Busy’s kinda irritating — it’s not what any of us wanted, we’d never sell it as ‘us at our best’, but it’s how nearly all of us start, when describing our work lives.

Next time someone asks you how you are, try answering with a different word — maybe look for one that reminds you why you got into all this in the first place.
