Lighten up your December!

Don’t be afraid of living an ordinary life.
You’re the boss of your day.
You’re the entrepreneur of your life.
You can make every day as special as nurtures your curiosity.

Start with doing one thing differently.
Ask yourself one question.
Just one little change.
The power is in repeating it every day.

You don’t need to change your routine, there’s nothing wrong with it.
On the contrary. Routine frees you up to consciously do things differently.

Here’s a list with ideas to make every day in December a little more extraordinary.

Don’t be afraid to be creative with it!

Today: Eat an extra slice of your favorite pie.

December 2: Return to bed to kiss your lover (singles, you are your most important lover).

December 3: Take a cup of tea rather than your usual coffee.

December 4: Start over when you didn’t succeed the first time.

December 5: Make a noticeable difference, however small, at work.

December 6: Speak up, even when you’d normally be too shy.

December 7: Pay attention to the stranger you didn’t see.

December 8: Throw a DIY Christmas decoration party.

December 9: Popcorn time: Rewatch your favorite movie.

December 10: Set your nourishing menu for the week.

December 11: Focus on progress, not results.

December 12: Reach out to someone you haven’t heard in a while.

December 13: Feel the rain on your skin.

December 14: Trust yourself.

December 15: Walk barefoot – Especially during winter time we don’t do that enough.

December 16: Start the day with writing. Something. Anything.

December 17: Don’t obey all rules blindly. “Rules are for the obedience of fools and the guidance of wise men.”

December 18: Send someone you love a letter.

December 19: Take an extra long lunch break.

December 20: Don’t complain about anything or anyone.

December 21: Celebrate winter solstice.

December 22: Take a walk in the dark.

December 23: Don’t plan anything, and just do.

December 24: Spend time with family and friends consciously. Turn off your phone, TV, judgements.

December 25: Give, without expecting anything in return.

December 26: Treat yourself with a detoxing yoga to stimulate digestion.

December 27: Do something unexpected.

December 28: Make a fool of yourself. And have fun with it!

December 29: Hug (more intensely).

December 30: Get rid of something you haven’t used last year.

December 31: Set lofty yet realistic expectations for yourself and others.

Love to hear how it made you feel? Did you try something different? Let me know and inspire everyone around you. Everyone has the potential and privilege to live an extraordinary life!
