How I Grew Over 7,600 Organic Followers in My First Year of Writing
It all just fell into place.
I never intended to be a writer.
At one point in my life, I hated reading so much that I refused to pick up a book. Funny thing is, all my teachers growing up hinted at the fact that I had a natural talent for writing. Funnier even, I hated that too…
I overcame my fear of reading back in 2017 when I began to acknowledge how good the practice was for you. Ever since, I’ve been in love with reading, even going on to swallow hundreds since I ingrained that habit into my lifestyle.
Still, it never crossed my mind to be a writer. Now that I think of it, I guess my quick success here is the result of many tiny moments over the past several years of my life — or huge moments per se.
For instance, my entire life I’ve been an athlete, leading me to play Division I Water Polo in college. In college, I had to balance 5 hours of practice a day with my degree in Computer Science whilst trying to have a life. At some point during that time, I began to fall in love with learning. I taught myself game development, machine learning, web development, and through my reading became heavily versed in philosophy, psychology, physics, history, and basically most types of nonfiction subjects.
