Decide your purpose for reading.

Set clear goals for your reading.

Carve out 30–60 minutes each day

If you read for 30 minutes each day for 300 days (that allows you “miss” 65 days), then in a year’s time, you will have read at least 1,800,000 words!

Carry a book (or have your reading app) with you at all times.

You can listen to books too.

Be willing to abandon or temporarily set aside books you’re not enjoying.

Don’t compare yourself to others.

Don’t put any unnecessary pressure on yourself with comparisons to others or unrealistic expectations on yourself.

It’s okay to read a few books at the same time.

Track your reading.

Reading more will change your life.
