Every year, I make the same goals.

This isn’t news.

Most of us do this. We make the same goals we did the year before, but this time we’re going to achieve them.

I’m going to tell you why this isn’t a problem.

You’re Not Giving Up

If you’re coming into this new year with the same goals you had last year, then I’m here to tell you that that’s okay.

Maybe you didn’t achieve your goals last year. That’s alright, and you know why?

It’s because you have another chance. You’re not giving up, and you have to give yourself credit for that.

It’s hard not to think of not reaching a goal as a failure, but we say we’ve “failed” at things as if we’re running out of time. As if we can never start over. As if it’s too late to better ourselves.

Well, here’s the secret to all this. It’s never too late.

And I’m sure we’ve all heard that fateful phrase time and time again, but that’s because it never stops being true, as cliché as it sounds.

You’re Constantly Improving
