Reconnecting with the Body

Means forgetting about being “the best.”

I have been belly dancing for four years and doing yoga for a little bit longer.

Before then, I was woefully disconnected with my body…in ways I didn’t quite understand.

I was always more or less athletic. I learned how to swim very young, I could play ball, and my hand-eye coordination was fine.
