Humans are social creatures. It’s fair to say most of us want to find our group of likeminded people to rely on and enjoy our free time with.

It’s vital to have a diverse network of relationships and know if your relationships are helping or hindering you. We’ll be discussing five types of relationships:

  • Family
  • Friends
  • Yourself
  • Mentors
  • Significant Others

These people will be able to empathize with you, whether you’re happy or sad, and help you enjoy your life. I consider myself rich because of the quality of people I spend my life with — and you should, too.

It’s important to maintain relationships that benefit you — and improve or discard negative relationships.

1. Family and Extended Family

Family can be a group who loves you unconditionally. Familial relationships may be the closest relationships you’ll ever experience; take advantage of that.
