What’s Your True Passion And Purpose?
Why do you do what you do? What is the reason behind it?
Are you truly living for your dreams, and if not, what is it that’s stopping you?
You should always ask yourself why you are doing what you’re doing because that answer will drive you every time. You may quickly say, “To make more money!” But, why do you want to make more money?
Keep going through the layers and asking yourself these ‘why’ questions until you get to the core of it all.
Are you passionate about the projects you work on, and what is it that drives you to keep going? If you can’t answer that question, then you’ll never be able to reach your full potential.
Without knowing what drives you, you won’t have any real reason or incentive to keep going. This environment of uncertainty and lack of direction will eventually lead you down a path of failure.
Let me ask you this. If money didn’t matter, what would you be doing in your life? Would you be working the same job that you have now, or would you be doing something completely different?
What if you could do something that you love and figure out a way to make it profitable?
I’d imagine that would be worth it. Sadly, most people aren’t willing to take that leap of faith to figure it out or to try something new.
Don’t live your life doing things on other people’s terms.
Stop listening to the people that tell you that your goals are “unrealistic,” or that criticize the things you’re most passionate about. What’s the point of keeping people around you that only want to drag you down?
You have to stop giving other people permission to control your future.
YOU have the power to choose your own destiny.
It all goes back to what you want and what drives you. What are your passions and what is your purpose?
When it comes to passion and purpose, there are three types of people:
#1 The people that are content (and complacent), and feel no need to have a purpose in their lives. Often, these people criticize those that wish to have more out of life.
#2 The people that spend their whole lives wishing they had a sense of purpose, but are never willing to push themselves enough to find it.
#3 The people that long for a sense of purpose so intensely that they’ll push themselves beyond measure and take any chance or leap of faith to uncover it.
What type of person are you?
Are you content with working towards no real goal or destination? Do you let a fear of risk and uncertainty hold you back from living a truly fulfilling life?
Or, are you ready to do whatever it takes to live a life that’s overflowing with abundance and meaning?
Once you figure out your WHY and your purpose in life, everything else will begin to fall right into place.
