Hear me out on this one.

I understand that the title is misleading, but it’s true. When you reach your definition of “success”, you have nothing more to plan for.

Life is about progress. If you aren’t making progress, then you aren’t moving forward with your goals. There’s always something that you can learn and improve on.

Here are 3 ways you can make progress with your life goals.

Continue to hustle

The moment you stop, someone is going to take advantage, and leap frog you. If you’re struggling, don’t worry about what other people are doing. Achieving big goals is not going to be easy, and it’s not going to get handed to you.

It may take you months or years before you start achieving some of the tough goals that you set.

Invest in personal development

Read articles that relate to what you want to do. If someone out there is excelling in something that you admire, reach out to them. Ask to see if you can dig their brain. If they don’t respond, then take the initiative and follow up.

The worse they can do is tell you their busy. If that’s the case, follow up and a few weeks later. Over time, they’ll add you on their calendar!

Documenting your journey

Learn from your mistakes, and be sure to write about your journey. Whether it’s winning or losing, it’s always something that you can reflect back on to make progress.

Time is something that you will never get back so you have to enjoy the moment while you’re in it. If you write about your experience in the moment, your future self will appreciate it.

If there’s one takeaway from this article, know that success isn’t going to solve everything. You should always be striving for more, and living the moment.
