Your struggle is part of your success story.

Imagine you got what you want every time, without hard work, struggle or challenges.

Imagine you got everything you wanted without any pain, setbacks and failures. You may say that would be great!

But you would be weak, and then when something difficult comes up in your life, you wouldn’t know how to handle it.

You would lose all the great things you had acquired because you wouldn’t know how to handle the obstacles, failures and negative opinions from others. Your accomplishments would fall like a house of cards.

Success is a process not a result. Most people think that having material wealth or titles is the definition of real success, but they are wrong.

Success is the mental transformation of an individual from being mentally fragile to become mentally strong.

Through experiences such as setbacks, failures and numerous obstacles you face and overcome in your quest to achieving your goals, your mind becomes hardened in preparation for your reward.

Jim Rohn, an influential personal development author, once gave a story of how he lost his first fortune a million dollars because he didn’t know how to handle it. He quickly observed that “whether you win or earn a million dollars, best you quickly learn how to be a millionaire, or you will lose it.”

He was able to make his second fortune much easily because he had now learnt how to make and keep a million dollars. He concluded by saying that “Success is more about learning the process of achieving your goal rather than enjoying the fruits of your labour because it will be easier to get back what you have acquired if you lose it.”

Without going through struggle, you would be weak because you will never have gone through something that strengthens you.

You cannot grow without a struggle.

You can’t develop your strength without resistance; you can’t get what you want without challenging yourself.

Unless you are ready to fight for what you want, you will not get it.

Most people will remain in mediocrity because they are unwilling to undergo the pain of abnormal growth to transform into people who are mentally strong.

They are unwilling to embrace struggle because they lack self-discipline; they are unwilling to embrace the struggle because they are not hungry enough for their dreams!

How badly do you want to live your dream life?

If you want it so bad, then you will embrace the struggle and the pain because it is these sacrifices that will take you to where you want.

For you to get what you want, you must be willing to pay the price.

Pain is your friend. Maybe not in the moment, but for the evolution of your soul and the long term benefit of a stronger human being, pain is your friend.

If you don’t have failures and struggles; if you don’t have disappointments and challenges, then you can never have courage, strength and compassion. These qualities are made from your pain and struggle!

All those obstacles come your way because you are strong enough to handle them.

You were given this life because you are strong enough to live it. You were given those obstacles because you are strong enough to drive and thrive through them.

You are facing this struggle to inspire others through it, so that they will say “if she did it, then I can do it too!”

If you have survived all challenges up to this point, then you will survive whatever is coming.

So next time a struggle comes your way, don’t curse the skies in anger and despair!

Just know that it was sent for a reason and a lesson. It might be to make you stronger and to teach you patience.

It might be to show others your spirit, so don’t give up.

When I was a kid, I was a severe stutterer who couldn’t speak three words without struggling.

Because I was poor in communication, I soon became a target for bullies in my class. I had few friends who only felt pity for me because of my speech impediment.

Some people told me that my condition had no cure. Others said I would never achieve a lot in life because my communication was poor.

But because I refuse to believe what they were telling me, my stuttering severity has reduced drastically. I made the pain of stuttering my friend and used it to become a better version of myself.

Richard Branson, the founder of the Virgin Group, was diagnosed with dyslexia at an early age in life. He recalls his teachers saying that he was lazy and not clever.

He couldn’t always follow what was going on in school yet today he is part of the billionaire club. He says that dyslexia is a powerful asset that has enabled his business empire to grow.

You have a purpose in this world, and you will find it if you keep growing.

Your struggle is part of your story because it has made you the person you are today.

Your struggle is the gift that will make the world fall in love with you.

Nobody wants to hear the story of the man who was given everything. People want to hear stories of men and women who endorsed pain and turned their struggles into a gift!

Do you want people to feel sorry for you? Or do you want people to look up to you?

Do you want to be a legend because legends are born in the valley of struggle!

You are greater than anything that has ever happened to you. Fear only exists in your mind like a fictional movie but the reality is a struggle. Reality can only be changed if you embrace your struggle.

Your struggle is not holding you back, it is giving you the tools to become one of the greatest this world will ever see.

Say no more to second-guessing. No more blaming others for the problems you have in your life!
