FX Announces Archer Premiere Date

Archer has been one of television’s most-critically acclaimed adult animated shows for the better part of a decade. Starring a group of spies, Archer is an enjoyable blend of adult humor, espionage and clever story telling. But it has been some time since the season six finale, which aired last April. Since then, there has been speculation about whether or not the show would be renewed for an additional season. There was additional speculation that if it were renewed, the seventh season would air on FXX rather than FX.

Like much internet speculation, it turns out all of this was false. Rejoice, Archer fans, because not only has the show been cleared for a seventh season on FX, it’s right around the corner too. Sterling, Malory, Lana and the gang are set to return to the Danger Zone on March 31.
