The summer course you have enrolled in is “Suburban Shamanism 404: Death, Rebirth, and Exchanges.” If you haven’t taken the pre-requisite courses you should go here to review:

This is an advanced class. We’re not going to slow down. If you don’t understand something, just nod your head knowingly and try not to fall asleep. You’ll do fine. The final will be the same as last year. If you don’t know someone who took the course last year, come see me during office hours and I will give you a list of “tutors” (people who took the course last year) you can call.

Death

When anything that is living dies, part of it continues to live in the spirit world. Suburbanites call the part that lives on the “dryer sheet”.
