Coastal Wave
Tsunami by Sylvain Paquette

Curvatures of the ocean came to us.
It kept crashing on the beach sand.
We walked and then, ran.
Ruptures were everywhere on our path.
It was a band of flowing waters.
But, we still dreamed and waved our arms to the sky.
It simply stopped, to our feet.
Of all hypertension and destruction, only a quiet roar remained.
The oceanic realm had vanished and gave us what we came for.
Cry on land to believe in rather than run away from.
It isn’t what we should fix or go through.
But rather how we inevitably must react to everything.
