Thrifty Word Challenge 100 #37: Backup Plan
My grinning lecturer would “accidentally” kick a plug out of a socket, occasionally saying, “I hope you saved…???”
Backing up became second nature forty years ago.
But I don’t need to back up my “friends”.
I have emails and digits, because before Fakebook and WhatsApp. I get new numbers, or numbers lost, from their managers or bosses. My real friends won’t care if I pitch up at their homes.
Fakebook friends haven’t noticed my deleted account.
It’s not difficult to delete social media.
Occasionally, I can’t sign up to something without a Fakebook account to prove I’m me.
How ironic.
