The above pic isn’t a hilarious product of my sinister left-wing imagination and an AI draw-bot. It’s a real ad from a sponsor of Blaze, the Glen Beck media company dedicated to raising the pulse rates and draining the bank accounts of hysteria-addled Patriots everywhere.
I’ve written before about how my unintentional presence on some MAGA email lists has opened my eyes to what the Trumpists are spending their disability checks on these days. It’s mostly end-times paraphernalia — freeze-dried food and random antibiotics — or products you can’t buy at Target because they’re meant for a TV dystopia, like “modest” swimsuits for ladies and concealed carry vests for their pistol-packing alpha partners.
Still, those items arguably have a function, if a disturbing one. Today I want to consider an example of the useless, branded crap you can carry around to let grifters know you’re open for business: the Trump 2024 Save America Automatic Knife.
