Visiting childhood memories from Long Island

I was only eight or nine.
Already an outcast.
Bullied and Teased.
Evan and the gang.
Waiting for me every day at school,
Elementary School.
I had a few friends, literally.
Ann-Marie, John and Frank.
Frank ran and cried in the bathroom
the day that he learned
