Thrifty Words Theme Challenge #21: Revolution
January 2021 has already been eventful. As the United States purges evil spirits with its first nationwide exorcism, those tenacious little demons are hanging on by the skin of their teeth. Thankfully this has given our writers enough fodder to sink their teeth into.
I love our TBI writers. You are all so patient. It is with gratitude in my heart that I present you with this week’s late but not forgotten Thrifty Words Theme Challenge #21: Revolution Roundup.
Before we begin, a note about the photo. I just grabbed one as a place holder while I was still in the throes of my migraine. (Which is, I think, finally gone despite the weird lights I still occasionally see flashing out of the corner of my eye.) Being slightly dyslexic, I didn’t, at first, notice the clever letter play. Now that I’ve noticed, I really like it and it might be my next tattoo. (Like the new name for my band, I come up with tattoo ideas frequently. I am not in a band. Nor do I have any tattoos. I’m just too chicken to get one.) Marla Bishop, then, submitted her 50-word story and it had the same photo. So, I’ve chosen another and you will have to go read Marla’s story to figure out wtf I’m on about.
