Thrifty Word Challenge #30: Hope Springs Eternal

Hope Springs, CA . . . Image by Pexels from Pixabay . . . ps i don’t think there’s a hope springs ca. this is fictional but the pic isn’t — right?

Having left Hope Springs to attend university, some nights I’d remember back to when I’d lie back in the pool and watch the satellites move through the stars.

Everything in the world was cruel and dirty. I had to come back for my remaining days and I’ll happily die here.

Here’s the challenge, thank you Marla Bishop:

Thank you readers, and thank you everybody at The Bad Influence.

P.S. The story has only three sentences, two paragraphs, one comma, and three periods. (In case you’re interested.)

We’re a Bad Influence because we INCITE change through inclusion, thought and creativity. We imagine a world where people can think critically, express themselves, and thumb their nose at the status quo, together.
