My wonder for the beauty of nature must be a primal thing, from many thousands of years ago. We lived a paradisaical (yet dangerous) existence. Sociologists and anthropologists seem to think that ancient humans were happy, and found joy in collaboration with others, marveling at the virgin planet they inhabited.
