I was speaking to a friend who lives abroad at the weekend, having finally managed to get hold of her after several attempts. We were scheduled to speak the previous Saturday but missed our chance, then we couldn’t connect the following day — a SUNDAY — because she was working 5 am-7:30 pm. Thirteen and half hours.
