Fifty word challenge #60: Self Sufficiency
I was meditating on how, with my medical condition, I have lost so much self-sufficiency. Asking for help for the little things I used to do with ease is the hardest.
Then my cousin phones and tells me her 22-year-old nephew died of cardiac arrest.
Suddenly, self-sufficiency pales into insignificance.
