I used to skip through life, eating bowls of cherries and tying the stems into knots with my whiskey-coated tongue. Those halcyon days of jumps and starts and leaps of faith went on in a figurative manner until my path was as twisted as the remnants of discarded cocktail fruits.

Dammit.

There are no shortcuts. Each step, even that one that starts the journey of a thousand steps? Yes, that one counts.

Each step. Even the dozen that some guys in Ohio promised would get you back on track? Yep. Those count.

Don’t skip. You’ll have to go back.

At TBI we need everyone to incite change. We support artists and creativity wherever and whenever we can. Help us put a little money in our writers’ pockets. More donations = higher $$ prizes. The more you donate the more our writers (and editors) get paid. The Dark Lord appreciates it.
