RANT: Dear Scoff-Laws
Yes, to all those of you who think that Covid 19 is a hoax,
that stay-at home and social distancing rules apply to everyone else except you …
You are in luck.
That I am not in a position to enforce really significant penalties to curtail your stupid behaviour, because, if I WERE in that position, here is what I would do:
I would call in the various scumbag tow operators and I would have THEM patrol the places you idiots like to park and gather with your cars, and I would authorize them to tow and impound your cars.
The cars would remain impounded for 14 days or longer, and the fees to get them out would be twice the normal fee.
In this way, public money would not be wasted in erecting barriers to keep you jerks out of parking lots adjacent to parks.
Taking your vehicle away would send you a very strong message, unlike the wimpy threats currently being made by the politicians at al levels.
Fines and threats of jail time are not effective against your sort of brain-dead behaviour. You need to have something happen that actually, seriously inconveniences you.
I would also make the names of all scofflaws like you public and list them online so as to identify those of you putting the rest of us in danger.
Back in the day, jerks like you would have been put in the stocks.🤬
