You were talking to your best friend
When I caught your gaze in the darkness
And we started a wordless conversation

You were wearing those shoes I adore
Playfully kicking me as I took another sip
My lips parting as I look at you once more

It’s time to leave but the night just started
For two hungry souls, two hungry bodies
Both pretending to be intoxicated

We drove away to our secret place
I’ve memorized the lanes and turns
Like how I’ve memorized your body

The blue light creeps upon your face
As your fingers run underneath my dress
And all I can picture is your mouth on mine

We set aflame to the demon’s playroom
Sin upon sin, you light up one more
Your favorite drug I’ve never tried

I breathed it in like I would breathe you
You breathed me in like it’s your first
Saying, “It tastes so much better”

We continue our short-lived madness
Lips, torsos, and thighs entangled
Softly moaning in each other’s ears

Our sensations heightening at every touch
Your hand on my hips pulling me closer
I clutch the bed as we reach heaven’s end
