The sun is fake. Dinosaurs are fake. There is no moon. It’s an alien space station. This is what I heard on the radio driving to work on Thursday morning. There is no sun. He was not laughing but serious, serious enough to talk about merchandise and social media to spread the message. The aliens are watching us, controlling us. There is no moon. There are no dinosaurs. The sun is fake. The sad thing is that some people might actually believe him because there are people that believe that we are living inside a simulation. It just takes one thing, and it’s the Butterfly Effect.
Covid is the embodiment of the Butterfly Effect. It was one thing, one virus that changed everything, and we will never be the same again. There is no going back, and we can’t even go forward. Not by resorting to violence. Not with throwing each other under the bus because of our differences, our perceptions. Not if we refuse to talk to one another because we can’t even seem to communicate. Just one thing like someone stepped on a damn butterfly, unraveling our society, our world until nothing and no one is left. It’s a sound of thunder, but we’re not listening. We have too much shit inside our ears like the sun is fake.
