The Dance

I dream a joyful dance in your arms

And the slow and sensual swoon of surrender

Envelops us like a musky dusk

Welcoming stars that shine within us.

My tremulous tears are your pearls,

Burning softly into the flesh

Of what I was

And what we are becoming

I melt into your Magnificence

With the sobs of a new born

Reaching out for itself

In the peace of the moon clad dawn.

I lie in Thy arms and wilt

with joy at the worlds within

Our embrace,

Emboldened by illumination

Galvanised by Grace

Merging in the dance

My reflection and Thy Face.
