Thrifty word challenge roundup #51 & #72: The Last Straw
The thing about last straws is you never know what it’s gonna be until it happens. It’s rarely what you think it’ll be. I read a news piece about a couple who tried to steal gas — and ended up blowing up theirs and their neighbour's houses, killing their neighbour’s toddler in the process. Too horrible.
