The Vase-Filling Analogy Is a Joke
We only have so many spoons.
As I was listening to my meditation today, the narrator told the story of filling your vase strategically so you can theoretically get everything done. The vase story failed as a topic of meditation. I dwelled on how ableist the vase analogy was and why. (The original vase origin was a science experiment about displacement.)
