His name screamed behind him. His feet hitting pavement. His heart pounding. Fear blinding his eyes as tears threatened to break. Dead-End. He was trapped, and they were drawing closer, still calling out his name. His assailant a small boy, but it was not harm that he intended. It was respect, asking for his signature because he recognized him for who he was and not what he was, but his brother was a different story. But this was not the day for those like his brother to come for him.
I watched the television series, Genius, which featured the life story of Albert Einstein. In this series, there was this moment, where Albert Einstein watched a crowd attack a man because they saw him only as a Jew, and suddenly, someone was shouting his name. Someone was drawing attention to him, and Albert Einstein took off, running for his life because he thought that he was next. All because of what people believed, and you would think that in 2022, such would not be the case. But you are wrong.
