Response to Do Androids Dream of Electric Sheep?

Throughout the book I started to wonder who or would could be an android. After the implications some of the androids had fake memories and themselves believed they were humans. And the androids in the book are so close to humans on design and look, they even bleed, how can we tell whats real and what is fabricated? And over all does it even matter? If I believe something to be an undeniable truth that makes it real to me. So why not the androids? People say that ignorance is bliss, that sometimes not knowing is better than knowing. Like in the Matrix, all those humans lived their lives in blissful ignorance of reality and the knowledge of the truth made their lives pretty miserable. But in the book, the humans were driven by a fear that the androids could take over them and have no need for the humans. And if they were already able to create such life like animals and android how do we know that everyone inst an android and they're all just living a lie?
