VetPark’s A.T.V.’s* Inaugural Disc Golf Tournament

VetPark’s Alternative Therapies for Veterans, 501(c)3, is hosting its Inaugural Kickoff Celebration on July 10, 2022, at Jericho Lake Park in Aurora, IL. It will be a day of fun-filled excitement centered around our annual fundraising Disc-Golf Tournament. Our theme this year (and in subsequent years) is “Helping Our Heroes Heal”.

VetPark’s Alternative Therapies for Veterans, 501(c)3 is hosting it’s Kickoff event July 10th 2022 in Aurora, IL. Come join us as we celebrate the official Grand Opening by making some chains rattle!

This is a family friendly event, so bring your fishing poles, blankets and furry kids with you! (Dogs must me leashed at all times)

The primary focus of this fundraiser is to purchase a Wheelchair Accessible Ford Transit Van for Peer transportation. Non-Emergency Medical Transportation for Veterans in and around Kendall County is the initial service of VetPark’s A.T.V. A lack of transportation is one of the most common barriers to Veterans receiving the help they require for healing. (veterans/total population) Kendall County 4,852/134,867; Kane 20,944/515,588; DuPage 29,854/924,885

We’re asking for All Hands on Deck”. Being a new organization means we have very little to build upon. Please consider donating pre-made raffle baskets, silent auction items, items to be placed in raffle baskets, event volunteers, financial gifts (of any amount), food for the event, items to place in Player Packs, Discs, t-shirt printing, drinking water for players, banner printing, player sponsorship, or simply sharing this request with another organization for potential sponsorship. Businesses may also consider “T-Pad” or Hole “sponsorship”.

* VetPark A.T.V. exist to ensure all US Veterans have access to Alternative Therapies for the well-being of their mental health, families and communities. We provide tangible support (Scholarships, Grants, Transportation Assistance Programs, etc.) to Veterans and/or Veteran Service Organizations seeking to connect Veterans and their families with Alternative Therapies of their choice.
