A fresh marinara (with killer tomatoes from Free Spirit Farm in Winters, CA).

If you were a food, what would you be?

A meatball. Everyone likes meatballs.

Describe the perfect meal, what and where?

Grilled ribeye, corn and tomato salad, good bread. Chilled chianti classico. On my deck with my family.

What is your favorite olympic event?

Downhill skiing.

What was the last live performance you saw?

Dave Chappelle.

With which artist of all time do you most identify?

It’s a tie between Philip Roth and Sly Stone.

Nathan Zuckerman.

what is your favorite method of travel?

A boat’s the best if you can make it happen.

What is your favorite vacation spot?

Adriatic in Italy.

Where would you live if you could live anywhere?

Rome, Italy.

What food do you want served at your funeral?

Hot dogs or some other hand-held food to allow for theatrical grieving. And good white wine.

What is your favorite luxury?

Good wine, preferably from a magnum.
