It’s only March 12; it’s only Spring Training, but the Cincinnati Reds are currently on a four game losing streak and have lost nine of their last 10 games to push their overall spring record to 4–11, good for last place in the Cactus League.

Although he’s not necessarily concerned with the current results, first-year manager Bryan Price would be quick to tell you he’d like to be winning.

“Sometimes you just like to win because it supports what we’re trying to do here, and that is to play winning baseball,” Price said. “I can’t guarantee that we’ll win more games when we’re playing the regulars more, but to this point, I’m satisfied with the effort and the approach and the work that we’re getting from these guys. The results just haven’t been great.”

The organization made a number of roster moves on Tuesday afternoon and cut down the Spring Training roster to 44 players — a number that will have to be cut down to 25 players come Opening Day against the St. Louis Cardinals on March 31.

Just for fun, let’s take a look at the numbers being put up this spring by the Reds’ projected starting lineup and starting rotation through the spring’s first 15 games.
