We said we would update what several probable Louisville Slugger Field regulars are doing at Reds Spring Training on a weekly basis. But, Wednesday’s game proved to be a big one for several possible Bats and, thus, we felt it worthy of its own post. The Reds beat the Diamondbacks 14–6.

Kristopher Negron went 2 for 3 after he entered the game for Brandon Phillips. Negron had a triple, 1 RBI, and 2 runs scored.

Outfielder Dennis Phipps got in on the triple party. He started the game in right field going 1 for 2 with the triple and a run scored.

Infielder Henry Rodriguez went 3 for 3 (bringing his average for the spring to a rather robust .700) with a double and 1 RBI.

Finally, Donald Lutz went 2 for 3 with 5 RBIs. The slugger mashed a double and a home run while also scoring two runs. He had a decent day.
