My spirit ancestor
The matriarch of the sun
Seer of the past, present, and future
She was the center of the universe
Plucked the eyes from Equus
Made Zeus thunder across the sky
Spoke ancient Hebrew in tongues
Knew when trouble started before it began
Could sniff a wildfire before it burns
Born of free will; never domesticated
Navigated the fork in the road
A goddess of intuition; a medium for the dead
