Doorways

A Poem

She says it
all lies with me now
already flipped upside down

cursing slow moving
cursors

that have dragged thoughts out
the bronze
doorways – slow like
the drugs have taken hold

slow like the coffee
stains
on that door

She said – lies with me
like she had a grave no one was
waiting in

turning the stones
over
I was looking for possible writing there –
this discovery something out of

the Rosetta one
with several impassioned phrases but
no body
on the dirt

I guess – if it’s me
I will try standing up now.
