Eugene, Oregon

When to visit: Fall
Run: Eugene locale has a rich running history (it’s known as TrackTown USA), which includes the Prefontaine Classic, the 4-mile Pre’s Trail and the TrackTown16 Fan Festival for the Olympic trials, which offered a beer to all of the competitors and fans.
Beer: Go with local Ninkasi Brewery, which created Beer Run IPA, a special release made for runners. After inviting runners to the brewery to try their batch, the Beer Run IPA was featured at running stores.
