Balenciaga, one of the world’s most renowned fashion brands, and part of the Luxury group Kering, has chosen Onyx Solar’s PV glass to dress the façade of its store in Miami, with a design that combines beauty, innovation, and sustainability.

Each one of the 42 units of glass (which sizes are 2804 x 1388 mm and 2808 x 1413 mm) have a peak power of 338 Wp. The installation will generate 7700 kW yearly.

The polycrystalline PV glass installed in the store located in Miami Fashion District has a beautiful blue color on the exterior side of the laminate. Its configuration is hurricane resistant, and each glass lite is heat-strengthened. It also has an optimized solar factor, which enhances thermal comfort inside the building.

The flexibility in customization inherent in this ground-breaking technology has enabled this world-class facility to achieve the highest sustainability standards internationally.
