Meralco Bolts and TNT Tropang Giga bagged Game 3 of their respective best-of-seven Semifinals series in PBA 2021 Philippine Cup.

Meralco escaped a 3–0 hole disadvantage as they stole a game from Magnolia Hotshots Pambansang Manok, 91–86.

A sense of urgency was evident on the Bolts starting strong the game including a 19-point separation after the 3rd.

Magnolia tried to crawl back in the game but the Bolts’ composure stands gallant against the scare.

Chris Newsome recorded 17 points and Nard Pinto’s stellar game saw him manufacture 16 markers and 5 boards. Noy Baclao aided the Bolts with 10 points as they played the game without injured Raymond Almazan.

Paul Lee’s efforts of 18 points came to waste as Ian Sangalang supported for 15 points.

TNT Tropang Giga reclaimed the series advantage as they denied San Miguel Beermen of another comeback, 115–98.

Pogoy caught fire for the Giga producing 26 points while Poy Erram had a breakout performance of 21 points and 13 rebound.

Super-rookie Mikey Williams finally had a great outing putting up 20 points including four triples.

The Giga now lead the Beermen, 2–1, in their Semifinals round. TNT took notes from their Game 2 meltdown and stayed focused all throughout the last kanto.

The Chot Reyes-led team started the game strong through a 11–0 run and never trailed Game 3 ballooning up the lead to 26 at one point.

Terrence Romeo once again took charge with 22 points while Perez and Fajardo contributed 14 each for the Beermen.

Pambansang Manok and Beermen look to recover this coming Sunday, October 10.
