He is One in all. Don’t feel wonder, this is true.
In verse-28 Lord Krishna explained the three stage cycle of the beings which is from unmanifest to manifest and again unmanifest. Here word used in verse-28 is भूतानि which actually means not only human beings but also all the creatures in this world. If we observe deeply we can find that almost all the worldly matter follows this three stage process. Any new endeavors, adventures, infrastructures, technologies, leaderships, relationships, businesses, wealth etc. passes through this three stage cycle. Nothing out of it remained permanent. Lastly all ends. Actually everything is continuously changing. Only exception is Soul which remains permanent. Lord Krishna now teaches ultimate quality of Soul in verse-29–30.
The Bhagavad Gita. Chapter-2, verse-29.
*Aashcharyavat pashyati kashchid enam
Aashcharyavad vadati tathaiva chaanyah;
Aashcharyavacchainam anyah shrinoti
Shrutwaapyenam veda na chaiva kashchit.*
Aashcharyavat- wondrously. Pashyati-he sees. Kashchid- someone.
Enam- this. Aashcharyavad- wondrously. Vadati- he says,
Tatha- thus. Eva- indeed. Cha- and. Anyah- other.
Aashcharyavat- wondrously. Cha-and. Enam- this.
Anyah- other. Shrinoti- he hears. Shrutwaa- hearing.
Api- even also. Enam- this. Veda- he knows. Na- not.
Cha- and. Eva- indeed. Kashchit- anyone.
Translation:
Someone sees this wondrously and Other indeed says this wondrously and Other hears this wondrously and even also hearing indeed no one knows this.
The Bhagavad Gita. Chapter-2, verse-30.
देही नित्यमवध्यो ऽयं देहे सर्वस्य भारत |
तस्मात्सर्वाणि भूतानि न त्वं शोचितुमर्हसि ||
*Dehee nityam avadhyo’yam dehe sarvasya bhaarata;
Tasmaat sarvaani bhootaani na twam shochitum arhasi.*
Dehi- the soul. Nityam- eternally. Avadhyo-indestructible. Ayam- this.
Dehe-in the body. Sarvasya- of everyone.
Bhaarata- Descendant of Bharata (i.e.Arjuna) Tasmaat- therefore.
Sarvaani- all. Bhootaani- beings. Na- not. Twam- thou.
Shochitum- to mourn. Arhasi- thou art worthy.
Translation:
This Soul, is eternally indestructible, in the body of everyone, O Arjuna. Therefore you are not worthy to mourn for all beings.
Commentary:
Actually for those who are not Soul conscious, it’s difficult to know Soul. For them this Soul looks like a wonder. They speaks about this as a wonder and they hear about this Soul as a wonder. Even after trying to see, speak and hear about Soul, they fail to express this because actually this Self is not object of senses like looking, speaking, hearing. So, knower of this Soul is very rare, but he can be known.
He is present eternally indestructible in all the bodies. All beings are owned by same one Soul. He is one in all. Definitely, if we think just at an outer level, we feel wonder that how same one Soul owns so many bodies, all at different places, of different sizes? How he manages to be in all together at the same time? This is difficult to understand but he can be known surely.
