We are sad to announce that Hot Diggity Dogs closed their doors over the weekend. There does seem to be a glimmer of hope, though, with this post on their Instagram page…”Born in the mouth of a shark during an underwater lightning storm, Hot Diggity Dogs made landfall in July of 2016 in the Avondale neighborhood of Birmingham, Alabama. Regretfully after years of offering whip ass hot dogs, vegetarian dogs, and ice cold beer to the residents of this fine city we have to close our doors. We will be closing this Saturday. Show us some love before then and stop by. We are very grateful to everyone that has supported us. Thank you! Even though we will not be around, be sure to stop by and see our neighbors. The Marble Ring will continue to serve up all your favorite cocktails. P.S. As they say, when one door closes, another one opens. Stay tuned for what’s next.” We’ll keep you posted if we hear anything!
