Could there be a better month for writers of the dark side?

October with its folklore, whispers of ghosts and constant invitations to dance with our nightmares, not forgetting the literally darkness that creeps further into our days… it’s a month made for indulging in all that hides from the light.

I’m looking forward to reading where it takes you, or perhaps, where you allow yourself to go.

This month, our featured poem and your favourite piece of work comes from the talented

For me this piece speaks so strongly to the very human trait of thinking we are protecting ourselves and others, when in actual fact, we’re causing damage that can remain unseen for now, but not for always. Many of you commented and liked this piece so its impact is undeniable.
