Molly Recap
Molly goes on a work retreat with the law firm and gets loose! While on the retreat, she begins to open up to one of her co-workers, Taurean. They both find themselves inching closer and closer together as the trip persists.
Molly
As we all know, Molly is on a quest to find love. But it baffles me that the person she’s been looking for might’ve been right under her nose the entire time. Taurean has been working at the firm since she joined way back in season three, but they’ve never seen eye to eye. If anything, I’ve always viewed Taurean as an enemy, a foe, or a competitor. This relationship is completely unexpected, but when you think about it, it makes sense. Molly and Taurean are similar in many ways. For one, they are both go-getters and strong-minded individuals with a passion for leading. These similarities have caused them to bump heads in the past, but it looks like it may cause a connection this time. Molly isn’t the type to share her personal business with just anyone. So the fact that Taurean was the first person to know that her mom woke up says a lot.
Nathan Recap
Nathan has been having some trouble at work. The drama has been affecting him so much that he’s thinking about leaving LA. On top of that, he isn’t sure of where he fits in with Issa. He feels that she’s all over the place.
Nathan
I think Nathan needs to take some time to focus on himself. Whether that’s with Issa or not. I don’t believe he should run back to Texas just because things are getting a little hard for him. Besides, he left Texas for a reason. Don’t run back just because times are getting tough. I’m not 100% sure if Issa is the right fit for him, but I do know that she served a purpose in his life for the time being.
Issa Recap
Things between Issa and Nathan become a little shaky after confronting him about the whole I love you situation. “What do you want from me?” he asks. In the midst of all the Nathan drama, she finds herself continuously daydreaming about Lawrence and Condola. What does their baby look like? Are they still together? Have they gotten married?
Issa
From my perspective, it looks like Issa is rethinking her relationship with Nathan. When he asks her, “What do you want from me?” You can see the wheels turning in her head. I feel like she’s starting to ask herself what she wants in the relationship. She’s beginning to question if she even wants to be with him at all. The constant daydreaming of Lawrence and Condola confirms that she’s still curious about Lawrence and his relationship with Condola. So much so that it almost feels like it’s haunting her. Let’s be honest. If Lawrence had never gotten Condola pregnant, she would’ve still been with him. Nathan is Issa’s second choice, and although Issa said she loved Nathan, I genuinely believe that Lawrence is Issa’s true love.
