The weather is getting warmer and the days longer! With these blissfully sweet days come new and exciting fashion trends. Spring is a great time to add new ideas to your wardrobe while incorporating fun colors and patterns. Here are a few Spring fashion trends to try out this season!

1. Crochet

Crochet is definitely in this season. Now if you have no clue how to crochet, this trend is for you! Crochet dresses, sweaters, and pants are all the rage right now. These pieces are a perfect way to add texture and character to any outfit and will be a showstopper. If a fully crocheted piece feels like a reach out of your comfort zone, try items that have a touch of crochet, like this Fashion to Figure Dress. The crochet element will add a fun, trendy style without having to commit to a full-fledged crochet outfit.

2. Hot Pink and Fuchsia

Black women have long been killing it in the color game, and this season is no exception! Hot pink and fuchsia are all the rage, from blazers and crop tops to chunky heels. This bright display of pink is sure to leave heads turning and look in great photos! Consider adding more color to your wardrobe this season with this bright addition.

3. Colorful Blazers

Blazers are making a statement this Spring in bright fun colors! This trend is a perfect way to get more wear out of those work blazers. Dress the outfit down with cutoff jean shorts or slim silhouette pants, and it’s ready for a brunch or a Saturday out and about! This trend could even play off the hot pink trend for a perfect and fun combo.

4. Cut-outs

If you have been holding on to your early 2000s peek-a-boo tops and dresses, the time has come to bring them back out because cut-outs are in this season! This trend is versatile and can be as revealing or non-revealing as you like. Want to add a little spice to your night-out ensemble? Try a cut-out dress like this one from Lulu’s. If you are looking to add a bit of warm weather fashion without looking too “done up,” try a cut-out top with a deep plunge in the back! Needless to say, this trend is right up the ally of all the early 2000s teens.

5. Halter Tops

And finally, another 2000s trend making a comeback. The beloved halter top is fresh on the scene this season. Halters are also very versatile (a possible quality of most early 2000s fashion). This halter trend can be used in flowy tops, maxi dresses, and crop tops. While being comfortable and great for a warm day, halter necklines add an intricate touch with their tiebacks and can make a simple outfit look elaborate.
