- Miners — Like baseball pitchers, miners throw curveballs by solving complex cryptographic puzzles to verify transactions and add new blocks to the blockchain. This work secures the network through a proof-of-work consensus mechanism.

- Nodes — These relay transactions, store the blockchain and provide computing resources to the network. Nodes act as the “catchers” of the blockchain, communicating encoded data between parties.

- Developers — Like baseball managers, blockchain developers build system architecture, write smart contract code, and improve network scalability. They strategize to optimize performance.

- Users — People using dApps built on the blockchain network or transacting in cryptocurrency from the fanbase. Their participation drives adoption and development.

- Investors — Providing capital to fund projects and startups, investors are the team owners of blockchain, financing ideas they believe in. Their investments fuel growth.

Each role completes tasks critical to the blockchain network’s functioning. Without miners validating transactions, the chain would cease to function. No new applications could be built without developers writing code. Like an orchestra, each instrument plays a vital part.
