We are two days away from the launch of the Bluzelle Mainnet. As you know, this mainnet is core to everything we want to accomplish for data for Web 3.0. It first powers our decentralized database, but that is only the start. Other applications and products, whether built from Bluzelle or from an ecosystem developer/partner, will be running on our Mainnet.

Once Mainnet launches, our new roadmap kicks into gear. Below you will see our plans for 2021/22. We focus on three major tracks:

  1. Bluzelle Mainnet — adding new features and strengths
  2. Bluzelle Oracles — our own killer application that fills a market need and shows the power of our database
  3. Polkadot — continues our goal for full interoperability by working with faster growing blockchain for developers.

Of the three above, Bluzelle Oracles will be getting the most attention from the internal team. We’ve received high demand for it by Defi projects and we believe it will lead to high growth for data being stored on our database which leads to the increased utility of BLZ. And to get things going fast, in Feb we’ll reach the next milestone, Ryu, for Bluzelle Oracles.

The team has been on an extremely long journey to get here. There were multiple challenges and setbacks but we learned to push through. This could not be done without the support of the community.

We believe Defi just brought the next wave of applications for people to use. And each wave of applications requires new infrastructure to support it.

We are just at the start of this phase and the timing could not be better. The vision of Web 3 is still aways to go, and with our new roadmap, we can bring Web 3 closer to reality.

About Bluzelle

Powered by a Byzantine fault-tolerant cluster of blockchains customized specifically for database operations, Bluzelle is a decentralized database for Web3. Its advanced data delivery network promises to protect businesses from data breaches, network failures and performance troubles. Bluzelle effectively serves as an “Airbnb of databases,” with developers paying for storage space and read/write access to the decentralized database. Secure, tamper-proof, censorship-proof, and highly scalable, Bluzelle is in the process of developing data feeds and oracles for the next phase of its evolution to help bring about a faster and more secure internet.
