Token sale details and next steps regarding full registration and KYC.

Happy Holidays everyone!

To say we were taken back in the last two weeks after we announced our token details is an understatement. We did not expect this much support for Bluzelle to come so fast. After 10 days, we had to close our whitelist because it was becoming too much. This type of support shows that our message of building the new decentralized Internet with our database protocol resonates with many and that we have a strong community to deliver a great product.

Now on to what comes next.

Token Sale Date

The Bluzelle token sale will take place on:

January 18 starting at 10 AM SGT (2 AM UTC). It will run for fifteen days, ending on February 2 9:59 AM SGT (1:59 AM UTC).

Registration Overview

To participate in the Bluzelle token sale, you must be fully registered. That is a two step process, where you must:

  1. Have been accepted onto our whitelist
  2. Complete our KYC (Know Your Customer)

Only those who made the whitelist are able to go through the KYC process. You are on the whitelist if you received a confirmation email from us. Please check your spam folder if you are unsure. With 10,000+ people in our Telegram group, we ask you to check that yourself because it would be too much time for our team to do so for so many people. To save our diligent community managers a massive migraine, please do not direct-message them to check for you.

Those that make it through the KYC process will get a notice and then be able to participate on the day of the sale.

Registration Period

The registration period will run from:

January 4, 10 AM SGT (2 AM UTC) to January 11, 9:59 AM SGT (1:59 AM UTC).

On January 2, we will post more details about the process so that you can be prepared. As mentioned, this includes fulfilling our KYC requirements as we do background checks to ensure nobody from banned countries registers nor anybody found on watch-lists.

To prepare you for January 4th, here are items we will be asking for and checking:

  • Email (this must be the one you used to whitelist and cannot be changed)
  • First Name
  • Last Name
  • Nationality
  • Country of Residence
  • Date of Birth
  • Gender
  • Passport/National ID/Driving License Doc (a picture will be required for us to check)
  • Selfie picture

You will also need to put in your Ether wallet address. This does not have to be the one you whitelisted with. You can put a new one in. But it must be from services such as MyEtherWallet, imToken; and hardware wallets such as Ledger, Trezor. Do not use an Ether wallet from an exchange. Also, be sure this is the correct address you use because you cannot change it after this. This will be the only address used on the sale date and it must be controlled by you (that is, you have the private keys). We will only accept ETH from you from this address and ONLY send you your BLZ tokens back to this same address.

Flash Whitelist and Regular Whitelist

We are placing our registrations into two distinct groups. Those that successfully joined our 24-hour Flash Whitelist and those that came to the regular whitelist from Dec 8–18.

There will be individual caps per person. Those that made it to the Flash Whitelist will have a higher cap. The cap amounts are yet to be determined as we need to see final numbers after registration.

We will send reminders about the registration details through email and through Telegram.

Safety and Security

A couple of safety precautions:

  • Any information about our crowdsale details will only come from our website and blog. Emails will not give specific information but will tell about key dates or reminders. If you receive any email talking about dates, details etc and are unsure, check to see our blog for matching information. Our blog is the official source at http://blog.bluzelle.com.
  • We have seen in Telegram people offering to sell their whitelist membership. We do not condone selling of whitelist spots. Any messages found saying that will be deleted and the user will be banned. Additionally having a whitelisted spot does not guarantee participation, full registration must still be done.
  • From reading messages in Telegram we can tell some people are new to cryptocurrencies, blockchain and tokens. We urge you to do full research about this space and understand as much as you can. Especially, learn all about the ways to protect yourself from phishing, scams and false information. Also understand the product/business behind the token. Essentially, understand what the company does before you buy.
  • And as related to all crypto projects, please secure your own keys and create safe practices to not lose them.

Thanks everyone for being part of this project. We are humbled by the support so far and inspired to build Bluzelle’s continued success. We are now proud to say: Bluzelle is 10,000 strong!
